There's a New Juice In Town...@oldorchardjuice

Image
Broxton loves juice.. and yes, he hates water! To solve that problem, all of his juice is 25% juice and 75% water... Unless we are at a friends house and she gives him treats... (She knows who she is!) There are two main reasons I do this: One - I want him to drink water. Two - All that sugar in juice is just not that good... for anyone. I am either drinking soda or water and actually told Marc the other day that we also need to get into the habit of drinking Juice from time to time.. We recently had the chance to try out a new juice:   Cranberry Naturals. I am not a plain cranberry fan... I think it is because I drank it in the past and might have gotten burnt out on it.. But, I was eager to open up the Cranberry Grape and taste it. Wow! It was delicious!  I actually noticed that I was reaching for the Juice INSTEAD of the soda! I asked Marc if he would please drink the Classic Cranberry , since he needs juice too! I finished off the Cranberry Grape (with the help

Courageous: Are You JUST "Good Enough" Or Are You More Than That?

Image
If you have not watched the movie, COURAGEOUS .... I think you need to go get it now.  Rent it, buy it, borrow it...  Whatever you have to do. I knew that this movie was filmed in my hometown of Albany, Georgia...  Also, it was a great Christian family movie...  Talking about family.  What I did not know was just how awesome it was... From the producers of Facing the Giants and Fireproof... Another great movie:  Courageous Not even 5 minutes in and I had tears in my eyes... This movie is not "just a movie."  This is so much more...  It is a movie of Example. I really hope that is you have not seen this movie that you make it a point to see it soon. SYNOPSIS: Four men, one calling: To serve and protect. As law enforcement officers, Adam Mitchell, Nathan Hayes, David Thomson, and Shane Fuller are confident and focused. Yet at the end of the day, they face a challenge that none of them are truly prepared to tackle: fatherhood. While they consistently give t

What Does Your Keychain Say About You?

Image
Sentimental gifts mean more to me than just something you can just grab at the store and sometimes show that no thought was put into the gift giving... That being said, I was excited to see that I was going to have the chance to review an item from Wholesale Keychains. We just had a big birthday celebration here... You see, Marc's son just turned 16! Yes... scary...  I know :) We gave him Marc's old Mustang for his gift... But, we wanted him to be able to open a present as well... That was when the great idea of a Keychain came to mind! I looked online to see if we could find a mustang keychain... and sure enough... We were even able to engrave on the back!!! I tried to get a picture for you, but I could not get a good one... I loved the way it turned out and he was pretty happy when he opened it up! Since it says "Happy 16th Birthday!  We Love You!" I think he will always remember that special day! We also were able to get something for Brox

Disney Baby by @DailyRenewal

No matter if you are a first time mom or an experienced mom of more than one.. Chances are, you like names you can trust.  From baby products to items for the house. When I saw that there was a product line called Disney Baby, I knew it would be great... I mean, it was associated with the Disney name, right?! We were sent the Disney Baby Shampoo. It was such a sweet and subtle smell!   We have been using it and Broxton's hair is so clean and soft...  Not to mention it smells great!  It is not an overpowering smell, but it does stay around for a bit...  There is nothing sweeter than him climbing into my lap and me leaning to kiss his head, only to catch a whiff of his clean and fresh hair.  As I said, it is not overpowering and you can not smell it if he runs by, but you can smell it if you lean down to love on him...  As we know, bath time is fun for him... I am happy knowing that this not only smells good, but keeps him clean and happy! Best part?  I

Two New Puzzle Books for Young Ones to Enjoy - From @abramsappleseed

Image
Remember me telling you about reading the books to the kids the other day? Well, another two books we were able to read were two new ones that are actually puzzle books! My Birdie and My Bunny are both by Jessie Ford and are great for little ones! With My Birdie, each page has a sentence that focuses in on an area of the birdie... With the corresponding page being the puzzle piece of that area.  Once you remove all the puzzle pieces (only 4) you put them together to have a picture of your birdie!   With the My Bunny book, each page tells you something that the bunny likes to do.  Yes, the opposite page on each of these shows the bunny enjoying what was just mentioned (as puzzle pieces) and once you put them together, you have a picture of the bunny you just read about! We loved this one as well, as it was interactive and it was just as fun taking the pieces out and putting them back in as it was reading it!  Broxton (and the kids in my little reading

It's A Big World, Little Pig - On Sale March 6th

Image
Let me start by saying that I literally Laughed Out Loud when I read that Little Pig was from New Pork City!   That right there had me : it was just too funny! We just finished reading the great story of It's A Big World, Little Pig by Kristi Yamaguchi. The summary of the story is that Little Pig is an ice skater and she travels to Paris for the World Games.   Yes, she is in a new place, with new faces... a bit scared...  But, her family and friends gave her tons of support for her to go and try to reach her dreams!  I absolutely LOVED that her friend said, " It's a big world, little pig, but remember that everyone smiles in the same language!"  I never really thought about it before, but that is such a true phrase that we can all use with all the different things we have to face! Little Pig heads on over to Paris and yes, she meets new people...  Although they are not from the USA, they all are able to help one another (which we should all w

W/W Our Road to #smackdown

Image
If you read my previous WWE Smackdown post ... You know that we are really excited that WWE Smackdown is headed to my hometown. Broxton loves it and is always playing with his wrestlers... So much that Santa brought him plenty of WWE toys this year... (He is really wanting the CM Punk and Randy Orton figures, so we need to get them soon.) Christmas Gift From Santa Playing Christmas Morning.... Can you guess where his love of the WWE comes from? This is Broxton at his big brothers house... Playing with all of his wrestlers! Happy Wednesday All!!!   Are any of you in or near South Georgia and planning on going to Smackdown?   This Saturday, the 3rd of March in Albany, Georgia! (We will be there!)

A New Spin : Huff and Puff from @AbramsAppleseed

Image
The other day, we spent the morning in the Emergency Room. (That is for another blog post...) Anyways... When getting ready to head there, I grabbed a couple of the latest books that we received for review.   One was Huff and Puff by Claudia Rueda .  I really thought it was just going to be a counting book with the classic story of the Three Little Pigs.   We got to the ER and settled in to wait until Marc was called back.   This ER has a childrens waiting area, so we went there, as one of Broxton's favorite shows was playing on the television.  But, once we were over there, we realized there was very little volume...  So, mommy to the rescue... I pulled out our reading material. (Let me mention at this point, there were three other kids in that area, so I had a captivated audience as I started to read.) We started with Huff and Puff first.   As we know, there are three little pigs.  First of all, we arrive to a pig building his house of straw...

There is No Denying It : @CiaoBellaGelato Review

Image
Let's be honest here.  We love food.  Marc and I surely do.  It is a love that his other boys have and yes, Broxton is included!!!! We just had the chance to review an AMAZING product and let me just say it now...  Wow!!!! We were given the opportunity to review a couple products from the Ciao Bella line and it is love.   I chose the Ciao Bella Belgian Chocolate Sorbet and then, for Marc the Key Lime Gelato Squares . Since I am always honest in my posts...  I will tell you... I did not share the Sorbet.... With Marc.  I did share it with Broxton and it was amazing!  I can not wait to go back and try other flavors.  It was really RICH and very creamy... A big plus for Broxton and I.  Needless to say, it did not last long in our house. Now, the Key Lime Gelato Squares...  Ummmmm...  I ended up not letting them be just for Marc :)   They were for all of us...   Broxton had to help us every time we had one out!  Marc and I have decided that it is now going t

We LOVE Our New Game - Morphology Review

Image
Marc is not normally one to play board games with me. We have tried to play before and he is just not a fan of them at all. That means for the most part, I don't play them. When I try to play with the boys, they start cheating and fighting... To the point where I quit as I just can not take it anymore. We received a game for review and I was eager to play it with the boys... but the last time we saw them, it was a bit to hectic to try and settle down for a board game.  So, Marc and I tried it ourselves. Have you heard of Morphology? It is a game for 4 players or more... but Marc and I really had a great time just the two of us. We were laughing so hard and Broxton even tried to get in on the game as well!  You should have seen us. Morphology is really a game to get your creative side going.  I know that this would have been a blast back in my single days!  Yes, we had times of us all getting together for different games... Sometimes it was before we went out... Sometimes
