I Ain't Squared To Review - Squaredy Cats Review

Image
Have you heard of Squaredy Cats ? LoL , I have never heard of such, until recently... But they sure are cute! As soon as I heard " Squaredy Cats"... I had to look. I was IN LOVE as soon as I saw : "Not squared to say Pasketty !" They totally had my attention! How cute is that? And it brings attention to "National Spaghetti Day!" Gotta love it! I spent some time looking on their blog at all the cute little phrases they had... I love that they are not "squared to say... " I feel that they help to bring attention to everything, silly and what not... For adults and kids... Hey, they even have a blog with a button: "Not squared to blog it" How many of us need that?! I think they really had me with this one: I wonder why! :) I love that they post squaredy cat artwork on their blog for pretty much everything... Makes me smile just to visit them! Not squared to dream for MLK day... They had the 12 days of Squaredy Cats for Christmas... Had

Dallas - The Complete Fourteenth Season on DVD - Review

Image
I can remember watching Dallas when I was younger... My Nana LOVED that show... I just remember that we would watch it and I thought it would be so neat to live somewhere like SouthFork . My parents were "glued to the tube" on Fridays... Talk about date night! How about I finally got to go and checkout SouthFork Ranch! Yep! Many... many ... Many years later.. My sister and I went to take the tour. (That reminds me... Need to find the pictures!) We took a tour of the SouthFork Home... Stood by the fireplace and got our pictures taken... Looked at their gorgeous table. Okay, that is for another day... On to the reason for this trip down memory lane. Did you know that there were 14 seasons of this hit show? Yes, and guess what... As of January 18 th , ALL fourteen seasons are now available for you to own on DVD! I was pretty excited to see the show from long ago... (I did give my dad season one, I should borrow it and start all the way from the beginning!) But seriously, Bobby

Aloha Friday # 72

Image
I am linking up with Kailani over at Island Life ... Welcome to this week’s edition of Aloha Friday. In Hawaii, Aloha Friday is the day that we take it easy and look forward to the weekend. So I thought that on Fridays I would take it easy on posting, too. Therefore, I’ll ask a simple question for you to answer. Nothing that requires a lengthy response. My question to you: Do you watch any "talk" shows? If so, which ones? My answer: I absolutely LOVE to watch Ellen and The Talk. I try to watch them everyday... Other than that, nothing else really... But those two, love... The Talk is a new one this year... It seriously makes me feel like I am just hanging out in the living room with them! I still have a hard time picking, but Leah and Sharon are my absolute favorites!!!!

Smart Cookies - Smart Moms - Review

Image
When I was given the chance to review cookies that were healthy... I was immediately interested. I wanted to see if we would like them. We LOVE sweets here! These smart cookies were made with fruits and vegetables in them. How would that work? We received all 4 of their flavors... I immediately opened the Gimme a Beat box... Not sure why, maybe because of the pink label... (Also PINK cookies) Or, it could have been because they were on top! Either way, I was hooked... It was so good! It tasted just like white chocolate chip cookies! Of course, we tried all of them... I think they were really good, no taste of fruits and veggies... (Good way to sneak in extras if your family isn't all that big of fans...) If I had to rate them... Gimme A Beat, Yellow Mellow, Chocoloco and then Nuts-Oat Crazy. They were all tasty! Or, as Broxton put it: "Yum- Yum! You can click HERE to see where you can buy them near you... Or, feel free to order from their online store ! As always, please sta

Sit back and Relax - Party Lite Aromatherapy is here! - Review

Image
We have been able to review the PartyLite Aromatherapy Line and I have to say... It is very nice and relaxing. Have you heard of PartyLite ? They have all kinds of candles, candle holders and everything else to make your home smell warm and inviting! They also carry Bath and Body Products... and a GOURMET Food Line! Talk about a way to pamper or be pampered! The thing with PartyLite is that it is sold exclusively through Independent Consultants. But do not worry if you do not have or know one! All you have to do is put in your zip code and they will locate the one in your area! How easy is that? Now, on to what we reviewed... We received the Aroma Therapy Soy Tealight Sampler. In it was 4 tealight candles of each scent. The scents included: Calm, Energize, Meditate and Refresh. When you open the box, you are immediately swept away with all the different scents mixing together... (They should make a candle for THAT scent! Amazing!) We tried the Refresh scent first... I was expectin

Peter Rabbit Organics - Review

Image
We reviewed Peter Rabbit Organics before... Their fruit pouches were so great, so when they asked if we wanted to review the fruit and veggie pouch, of course we said yes! I was a bit nervous, as the mixtures do not really sound that appealing to me, but I wanted to try these to see. Broxton loves veggies for the most part and if these were good, it would make snacking much easier and healthier. Once we got them, Broxton immediately inhaled the Sweet Potato, Corn and Apple one. I have to say, I took it from him for a quick taste... Very good, if I do say so myself! Then, he tried the Pea, Spinach and Apple. He loves all three of them separately, but together... Nope, it was a no go! I gave it to him several times over two days and he would not eat it. He would take a bite and then refuse to eat it again... ( I tried it as well, not one we will be buying, I did not like it either and felt kind of bad for trying to get him to eat it for both days! Ha ha!) The last one saved me and put

Eye Buy Direct - Review and Giveaway

Image
I used to wear contacts all the time... Then, my eyes started to suffer. Working in a smoky bar did not help, I started wearing my glasses more and more. Then, it turned into wearing contacts only when going out or if I was going to be in the car for a bit (had to be able to wear sunglasses then!) I finally got a new pair of glasses before Marc deployed... Nope, my prescription did not change, I was just so tired of the lenses... My previous lenses were pretty old! I should have kept the old ones. These glasses were super expensive and the least favorite of all the glasses I have ever had. I said I wanted to go and get a new pair, but as we all know, glasses are not cheap!!!! That was until I found out about eyebuydirect . Have you heard of them? They have tons of different frames! You can pick based on several different factors. Start off on choosing: Mens or Womens. That was easy enough. Next- What kind of frame do you want? Full Rim, Semi-Rim, Rimless? (Of course, I had to look at s

Wordless Wednesday - Snuggles

Image
With Marc working such crazy hours at times... He sometimes falls asleep on the couch before making it to bed. This was one of those little "naps." Broxton loves to go and give him wake-up kisses! (I love my sweet baby!) This morning, Broxton just wanted to crawl up and snuggle. So sweet!!!! Can you believe he is almost two?!

I love pictures, now to frame them all... Rusty Roof - Review

Image
Some time ago, a friend and I took the kiddos to an arts and crafts show... While there, we saw so many neat things, some priced reasonably, others... Not-so-much. She fell in LOVE with this HUGE picture frame... Thank goodness I was able to talk her out of it... It was like a 16 x 20 for $165. What?! Did I read that price right? $165 for A FRAME? No thanks... We left. She still reminds me that I did not let her get it. ( I think she should be thanking me, but anyways... ) I saw Rusty Roof frames online and I had to go look. Beautiful! AFFORDABLE! Handmade! Hand-painted! In the U.S.A. Now, let me back up.. You can get a cute piece of printed art... Like the Live, Love, Laugh (love those!) or the Always Kiss Me Goodnight . They have a great selection of artwork, different sizes and prints! But, I wanted to see about the frames... I had such a hard time picking what to review. (Side note, I love how the frames are named: Ashley, Chloe, Lauren, Madison, Bella) Pick your frame... ( I ch

It is time to get organized! Organizeworld.com Review

Image
If you know me at all... You know I have good intentions to organize... but then things never actually GET organized. Not this time... I started looking at all the things that Organizeworld has and I am determined, the times... they are a changin ! I figured one of the first things that needed work was our pantry. Now, our pantry is super small.. but hey, at least we have one now... (We didn't at our old place.) We used to cram things in, there was no organization... Things were hard to see... Stacked on top... Now, not so much! If you think about it, there is plenty of wasted space between the door and the cabinets. Well, not if you have the over the door pantry shelf system ! First, let me tell you... It came to the house and I told Marc he had a project to do. He had to put it together for me! But, then I looked... This was super easy. No tools were needed... Even I could do this! I opened the box... Connected my two posts for the side... then hung it in the pantry... After tha
